How do you do your own payroll?

I need to know how to go about acquiring the right info so I can start taking taxes out of my paycheck. We were with a payroll company buit canceled the service and now it is my job to figure it out.

1. If you don't want to pay someone to prepare your payroll and to prepare your payroll taxes and to file your quarterly returns I would recommend that you use QuickBooks to manage this for you. They have a deal with ADP where you can get a period of time for free and then it's about $200 a year after that.
2. Quickbooks by Intuit is the program you want. You need to have the state data and federal rates updated each year, but the calculation from then on are easy. See their site below:
