How does the thin air of Denver affect people not from that area, and vice versa?
As a steelers fan i am concerned for S Ryan Clark's personal health, but am also curious as to how denver air affects people. for example, if I (having lived in Eastern Virginia all my life excluding vacations) were to travel to Denver, and tried to, say, swim a mile, or some other excercise, how would my performance be affected, if at all? likewise, for someone who has lived in Denver all their lives, and they excercised somewhere lower, say, Richmond, VA, how would their performance be affected, if at all?

- coming from virginia, you would suffer by getting dizzy. someone from denver would work out easier in the thicker air of virginia. my ex bro in law took the tram to the top of pikes peak. he lit up, took a drag, and fell over. very funny. he is from no. illinois.
- if you're not a denver resident , you wouldnt be accustomed to the high altitude and low oxygen levels, therefore you would feel more tired from swimming a mile... on the other hand people who are from denver will tend to have more endurance if they were to go to a different area.. -.- thats why a lot of athletes train in high altitude, good cardio.
