Are most of the cathedratics, academics and people involved in the highest level of Scientific work spiritual?
I have a friend who is a professor at a well known university and he once told me that most of the researchers and scientists that dedicate their lives to solve theories and investigate usually reach a point where they become spiritual, is like basically going from being more rational to begin accepting ideas about God. Does anyone have an input on this?

- Umm, source please? Most professor and academics I have been in contact with are agnostic or atheist.
- Well, knowledge of God requires faith, so to the extent they implement faith is the extent that they go spiritual. However, higher level studies will enevitably lead one to wonder about the bigger pictures that they have not pondered before and that hint strongly about a higher power. Even Albert talked about an infinite order... Btw, faith goes together well with reason- one without the other is not worth very much.
