Are the Obama Academics in Washington more informed about care of Gulf Marshland than the people of Louisiana?

Do the Academics in Washington know more about the shoreline of Louisiana than the people who have lived and fished that area all their lives? Where would those Academics have received their education? experience? knowledge?

1. Do you mean the "drill here drill now" "no nanny state socialism" "no corporate killing government legislation" people in Louisiana. They got exactly what they wanted, why are they complaining.
2. The Obama administration is so entrenched in the politics of Federal control that they are unwilling to grant any authority to the state of Louisiana to try to deal with a problem that will affect them directly. I don't believe that they are any more informed than the local officials.
3. There is no such animal as a conservative environmentalist. You have been dragged kicking and screaming into protecting Nature. Now you're getting religion?
4. Sure they are didn't you know that. Why they sit in the oval office and impress each other all day with their rhetorical bullshit. They peer into those cystal Balls of theirs and make all kinds of grand professtations, Thats the Obama way.
