Auria appoints Chris Hassett to lead commercial and public sector business unit

Auria, a provider of command, control, and communications (C3) software for space and missile operations, has appointed Chris Hassett as Executive Vice President and General Manager of its Commercial and Public Sector Business Unit. The company is supported by Enlightenment Capital.

Chris Hassett has over 20 years of experience in technology leadership roles focused on the federal sector. He previously worked at ManTech as Senior Executive Director for Commercial Software & Services in the Office of the Chief Technology Officer. Hassett’s background includes leading teams and delivering secure technology solutions that support national security efforts.

In his new role at Auria, Hassett will oversee strategy, customer engagement, operational execution, and growth initiatives for the commercial and public sector segment.

The company develops systems supporting space operations such as Space Domain Awareness, Satellite Communications (SATCOM), and Missile Defense for federal, international, and commercial clients.

Enlightenment Capital is a private investment firm based near Washington D.C., specializing in investments within the aerospace, defense, government & technology sectors.
