The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will conduct maintenance work on US Highway 160, also known as South Camino Del Rio, between Santa Rita Park and Three Springs in Durango. The maintenance is scheduled for October 1 and 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

According to CDOT, motorists should expect lane shifts and closures at different points along the corridor while crews fill potholes. The department stated, “Motorists traveling through Durango along South Camino Del Rio (US 160) should anticipate delays and slower speeds from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 1 and 2 for pothole patching operations.”

These changes are expected to cause congestion and slower travel speeds during the maintenance period. The lane closures are intended to ensure worker safety during the repairs.
