The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), together with Goodland Construction, Inc., will start a project to replace curb ramps in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) beginning October 13.

The construction work is planned for 24 intersections along US Highway 36 in both the Town of Lyons and the City of Boulder. Additionally, four intersections on Colorado Highway 7 in Lyons will be included. The overall project aims to improve accessibility and is scheduled for completion by late March.

According to CDOT, the first phase will address intersections within the City of Lyons from mid-October through mid-December. The second phase will focus on intersections within the City of Boulder along US 36, starting mid-December and continuing through mid-March.
