The Colorado Department of Transportation announced on Mar. 18 that it has completed a resurfacing project along Colorado Highway 115 in El Paso County, covering six miles from Nelson Boulevard at Fort Carson Gate 1 to Brookside Street, south of Interstate 25 in Colorado Springs.
The completion of this project is important for local residents and commuters who rely on this section of highway for daily travel. Improvements are expected to provide smoother pavement and enhance safety throughout the area.
“This busy section of CO 115 is essential to local residents and commuters,” said CDOT Region Transportation Director Shane Ferguson. “Motorists and pedestrians can now expect significantly smoother pavement and enhanced safety throughout the project zone.”
