Colorado Department of Transportation to begin US 50 culvert repairs in Cañon City

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will start repairs on a culvert along US Highway 50 in Cañon City on December 8. The work is planned for a two-mile section east of downtown, from 15th Street to Justice Center Road, between mile points 279.33 and 281.65. The project is scheduled to finish by the end of March.

Insituform Technologies, LLC has been selected as the contractor for this project, which has a budget of $1.45 million.

A map provided by CDOT shows that the repair area begins at 15th Street and extends to Justice Center Road.
