The Colorado Medical Society (CMS) is seeking nominations for a Resident/Fellow representative to serve on its Board of Directors. The position carries a one-year term, with the possibility of reappointment each year until the completion of residency or fellowship.

Board meetings are scheduled quarterly in March, June, September, and December. These meetings take place on Friday afternoons from 1 to 5 p.m., and participants can join either virtually or in person at the CMS office, annual meeting location, or via Zoom. Board members are expected to review meeting materials beforehand, which adds about an hour per meeting to the overall time commitment.

Travel support is available for board members who must travel significant distances. Those traveling more than 50 miles are eligible for mileage reimbursement. If travel exceeds 150 miles or if board business extends over two days, overnight hotel costs will be covered.

Candidates must be current residents or fellows in Colorado and maintain good standing as CMS members. Membership for residents and fellows is offered free of charge.
