On October 17, 2025, Davis Mortuary and Davis Crematory, represented by Brian Cotter, gave up their registrations to operate as a funeral home and crematory in Colorado. The action is considered the same as a revocation of their licenses. According to the agreement, Davis Mortuary, Davis Crematory, and Brian Cotter will not seek any registration or license with the Colorado Office of Funeral and Mortuary Science Services in the future.
