IAM Union highlights employee assistance programs and crisis resources for holiday season

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM Union) has announced the continued availability of its Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) during the holiday season. The union emphasized its support for members and their families, acknowledging that this time of year can present unique challenges.

In a statement, the IAM Union said, “As we move through the holiday season, we wish every member and their families a happy holidays. We support you, your family, and your loved ones through what can be a challenging time.”

The IAM offers two separate EAPs that provide confidential support around the clock. These programs are designed to assist union members with various personal or work-related issues.

Additionally, the union reminded members about national mental health resources. The National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available by dialing 988, sending a text to 988, or visiting 988lifeline.org for assistance via text. In emergencies involving immediate danger, individuals are urged to call 911.
