Ivy Geilker has been named Special Representative for the IAM Healthcare Department, following an appointment by IAM Union International President Brian Bryant. The role will be under the supervision of IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett and is effective as of September 1, 2025.

Geilker began her work with IAM Healthcare as an Associate Organizer and has led several organizing campaigns. These efforts resulted in new members joining The Pharmacy Guild/IAM from companies such as CVS, Walgreens, and Safeway Pharmacy. The new members include pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff at these major corporations.

Prior to her time with IAM Healthcare, which started in February 2024, Geilker worked as Senior Lead Organizer at the Colorado State Employees’ Union. In that position, she managed a team responsible for representing workers across various settings including state hospitals, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and university campuses.

“Ivy’s success in organizing pharmacists and technicians at major corporations has contributed to the IAM’s impressive growth in the healthcare industry,” said IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett. “Her tireless work to build The Pharmacy Guild/IAM has given a voice to hardworking professionals who provide care to our families and communities.”
