Sling TV has announced the formation of its first “Stream Team,” featuring 10 college football players who have signed one-day Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals for $4.99. The value matches the price of Sling’s recently introduced Day Pass subscription.

The streaming service launched new subscription options last month, including day, week, and weekend passes for its Sling Orange package. This campaign marks a shift from traditional NIL agreements that often involve high-value contracts or endorsements. Instead, Sling TV is focusing on offering both athletes and fans accessible opportunities tied to their new $4.99 Day Pass.

“This program proves you don’t need to spend big to show up big,” said Seth Van Sickel, Senior Vice President, Sling TV. “We built our new passes to give fans flexibility, and the Stream Team celebrates the same idea. You can still be part of the action without signing your life (or your wallet) away.”

The selected athletes represent a range of universities and include Nikhai Hill-Green (University of Alabama), Will Straka (Boston College), Christopher Vizzina (Clemson University), Jacob Hardie (University of Georgia), Miles Thornton (University of Georgia), Andy Bass (University of Oklahoma), Jakeb Snyder (University of Oklahoma), Wesley Watson (Texas A&M University), Brycen Coleman (Vanderbilt University), and Brock Taylor (Vanderbilt University). The roster includes transfers, walk-ons, and players recognized for their impact both on and off the field.

In addition to athlete participation, Sling TV is extending an invitation to fans through its “Stream Team” sweepstakes. Until September 26, fans across the country can enter for a chance at their own $4.99 NIL deal and receive a full year subscription to Sling Orange by visiting sling.com/NILDayPass.

“College football’s superfans are its beating heart,” said Van Sickel. “We’re excited to showcase their passion, unique personalities and unwavering loyalty. We’re proud to officially welcome them into the Sling family.”

Sling TV offers over 700 channels across various markets with general market services such as Sling Orange, Sling Blue, and Sling Select. The platform also provides free content via Sling Freestream along with numerous add-on packages catering to diverse audiences in the United States.

Sling TV L.L.C. operates as an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of EchoStar Corporation.
