UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital has been named the top hospital in Colorado for the 14th year in a row by U.S. News & World Report. The annual rankings also placed UCHealth Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs and UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland in a tie for third place statewide, making them the highest-ranked hospitals in their respective regions.

Concordia, president and CEO of UCHealth, commented on the recognition: “This achievement underscores the remarkable commitment of UCHealth’s staff and providers, whose compassion and expertise place our patients at the center of everything we do. Improving lives and delivering exceptional care isn’t just our mission, it’s our daily promise to the communities we serve.”
U.S. News & World Report also recognized University of Colorado Hospital among the nation’s best in four specialties: pulmonology and lung surgery (in partnership with National Jewish Health), cancer, diabetes and endocrinology, and obstetrics and gynecology. The hospital received high marks for its care related to acute kidney failure, heart conditions such as stroke, arrhythmias and heart failure, spinal fusion procedures, and hip fractures.

Additionally, The Lown Institute recognized UCHealth as one of the country’s top-performing health care systems for social responsibility measures such as community benefits, health care value, and patient outcomes.
In fiscal year 2024, UCHealth reported caring for 2.7 million patients across its system. The organization provided more than $1.3 billion in community benefits during that period; this included $570 million allocated to care for patients unable to pay.
