The U.S. Census Bureau announced on March 19 the launch of USA Trade Online: Reimagined, marking a transition from the legacy USA Trade Online platform.

USA Trade Online has been a primary resource for accessing trade data for nearly thirty years. The updated version offers the same trade data but introduces a modern and more intuitive interface designed to improve user experience.

One notable change is that users no longer need to create an account to generate and save reports. Instead, reports can be saved using just an email address, removing the need for password management. Other new features include enhanced navigation with all report selections consolidated on a single screen, simplified report-sharing capabilities, improved collaboration tools, and redesigned report management options such as custom tagging and dataset filtering.

The Census Bureau encourages users to visit the user guide for more information about these updates. The legacy version of USA Trade Online will be decommissioned by June, and users who have saved reports on the old platform are urged to recreate and save them in the new tool.

No additional news release was issued with this announcement.
