UCHealth facilities and affiliated providers will be included in several Medicare Advantage and Connect for Health Colorado plans in 2026, expanding access to care for residents across the state. The announcement comes as open enrollment periods approach for both Medicare and Connect for Health Colorado.
Medicare open enrollment begins on October 15 and continues through December 7, with coverage starting January 1 of the following year. During this period, Medicare-eligible patients can receive in-network care at UCHealth facilities through traditional Medicare and Medicare Supplement Plans.
For 2026, UCHealth will be an in-network provider with these Medicare Advantage plans: Select Health Medicare Advantage, Aetna Medicare Advantage, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare Advantage, Humana Medicare Advantage, and United Healthcare Medicare Advantage. Kaiser Permanente Medicare Advantage will also include select UCHealth locations such as University of Colorado Hospital in metro Denver and all UCHealth sites in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.
UCHealth will no longer be an in-network provider for Cigna Medicare Advantage (also known as Healthspring) or Devoted Health Medicare Advantage plans.
Connect for Health Colorado’s open enrollment starts November 1 and runs through January 15, with coverage beginning January 1. Those seeking comprehensive coverage that includes all UCHealth facilities, along with University of Colorado Medicine providers, Intermountain Health, and other affiliates may consider Select Health Value and Select Health Value CO Option plans. Select Health is a joint insurance option from UCHealth and Intermountain Health.
Anthem Pathway plans also feature UCHealth and CU Medicine providers in their network. However, UCHealth providers and facilities are not in-network with any Anthem Pathway Essentials plans, and the Anthem Pathway Colorado Option is not available in metro Denver or Boulder counties this year.
In specific regions:
– In Colorado Springs and Woodland Park, Select Health Value, Anthem Pathway, Cigna Connect, and Kaiser KP Select include UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central, Memorial Hospital North, Grandview Hospital, and Pikes Peak Regional Hospital.
– In Pueblo, Select Health Value, Anthem Pathway, and Kaiser KP Select cover Parkview Medical Center and Parkview Pueblo West.
– In Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley, Select Health Value, Anthem Pathway, and Cigna Connect include Poudre Valley Hospital, Medical Center of the Rockies, and Greeley Hospital.
– In Steamboat Springs, Select Health Value, Anthem Pathway, Anthem Mountain Enhanced, and Rocky Mountain Health Plans RMHP Valley include Yampa Valley Medical Center.
Colorado Option plans are available within several networks including Select Health Value, Anthem Pathway, Cigna Connect, Kaiser KP Select, Anthem Mountain Enhanced, and Rocky Mountain Health Plans RMHP Valley.
