University of Colorado Board of Regents approves three new tenure appointments

The University of Colorado Board of Regents has approved tenure appointments for three faculty members across its campuses. The decision was made during a meeting held on November 6.

At the University of Colorado Boulder, Matthew Eichenfield will receive tenure as a professor in the Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering within the College of Engineering and Applied Science. His appointment with tenure becomes effective January 2, 2026.

Two appointments with tenure were also approved at the University of Colorado Denver, effective November 6, 2025. Karen A. Marrongelle will join the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Jodi Shepherd will be appointed at Auraria Library.
