The University of Colorado Board of Regents has completed its scheduled review of several regent laws and policies, approving revisions to two and confirming no changes for three others. The decisions were made during the board’s meeting on February 5.

Revisions were approved for Policy 13.D, which concerns the defense and indemnification of university employees, and Policy 13.E, which addresses fiscal misconduct. For other policies under review—Policy 1.B (Guiding Principles), Policy 2.E (Faculty, Staff, and Student Representatives to the Board of Regents), and Policy 14.B (Use of University’s Name and Marks in Advertising and Marketing by External Entities)—the board recommended no changes.

These reviews are part of a regular five-year cycle established by the Board of Regents to ensure that university laws and policies remain current. A more detailed summary of the policy changes, including justifications and redline drafts, is available at https://www.cu.edu/regents/rlpreview#tabs-2.
