The University of Colorado has published its 2024-25 demographic report, highlighting shifts in the makeup of its student body, faculty, and staff. The report examines a decade of demographic data through fall 2024, showing that changes among students are occurring at a faster rate than those among faculty and staff.

According to the university, the evolving demographics reflect broader trends across Colorado. “A recently released annual report details how CU serves and supports all communities of Colorado. The 2024-25 demographic report features data that shows a student body that is evolving just as Colorado’s demographics are also changing. The faculty and staff communities also are changing, just at a slower pace,” the university stated.

The full demographic report can be accessed on the CU Office of Collaboration website for those seeking more detailed information.

Student census figures for the fall 2025 semester will be presented to the CU Board of Regents during their meeting scheduled for September 18.
