A university-wide survey for the University of Colorado community is set to close on Friday, February 6. The survey is a key part of developing the institution’s next strategic plan, known as Strategic Plan 2.0.

Faculty, staff and students have been encouraged to participate using a unique link sent via email with the subject “Share Your Voice on CU’s Future.” Those who have not yet completed the survey received a reminder on Monday, February 2. The survey takes about ten minutes to complete.

The campus that achieves the highest completion rate among faculty, staff and students will receive a $1,000 donation for its campus food pantry.

“This survey is designed to gather perspectives on university priorities, performance and opportunities for improvement,” President Todd Saliman said in his initial email announcing the effort late last year. “The insights you provide will help shape our next Strategic Plan as we work to continue delivering for our community.”

Strategic Planning Co-Chairs Lynn Vidler, provost at UCCS, and Chad Marturano, vice president and chief financial officer for the CU system, stated that feedback from all parts of the university community is vital in forming a strategic direction that reflects shared values and aspirations.

The upcoming plan will replace the current five-year strategy at the end of this academic year. A draft is scheduled for submission to President Saliman by June, with final approval expected from the Board of Regents during summer.
