An ongoing survey is seeking input from faculty, staff, and students at the University of Colorado (CU) as part of the development process for CU’s Strategic Plan 2.0. The survey was distributed via email, with recipients encouraged to share their perspectives on the university’s future direction.
The survey is intended to collect feedback on university priorities, performance, and areas for improvement. According to President Todd Saliman, “This survey is designed to gather perspectives on university priorities, performance and opportunities for improvement. The insights you provide will help shape our next Strategic Plan as we work to continue delivering for our community.”
Strategic Planning Co-Chairs Lynn Vidler, provost at UCCS, and Chad Marturano, vice president and chief financial officer for the CU system, emphasized that input from all parts of the university community will be important in developing a plan that reflects shared values and goals.
To encourage participation, the campus with the highest completion rate among faculty, staff, and students will receive a $1,000 donation for its campus food pantry.
The new strategic plan will replace CU’s current five-year plan when it concludes at the end of this academic year. A draft version is expected to be submitted to President Saliman by June. The final version of Strategic Plan 2.0 is scheduled for presentation to the Board of Regents during the summer.
